Justin & his daughter Alijah. Cute.
Donny & Irene’s newest addition!
Look at this lil’ bug! He was so chubby I just wanted to pinch him–but not really–because that would hurt. The ring photos were a bit of a challenge because he no longer wanted to sleep and was actually awake, flailing around. It’s a wonder that any of the ring photos came out. And I love that curly-cue of a cow lick near his forehead. Sooo unique & cute.
Then, lastly, a pic of Donny & Irene just outside their home. Lovebirds.

I was going through my photos last month, getting a food portfolio book printed, and really became fond of this photo. This was taken in Dec 2009 at Bottega Louie in LA while documenting a large event for a company’s Christmas party–oh, ‘scuse me–“Holiday” Party. I hadn’t paid much attention to this photo at all since the day I’d taken it. But, like I said, last month I went through my archives and grew to really enjoy this photo.

I Looove this shot.
Like,
Love. It.
This image just does it for me. I enjoy the peaceful feel, the colors, the glow…I even like tracing with my eyes all those spindly plant stems bending every which way up into the sky. sigh… It’s so beautiful.
I shot this back in Sept 2010 one night as I was listening to the breeze and watching the sun set. After that, this image literally sat on my harddrive, untouched, for over 4 months until I realized the beauty of it a few weeks ago. And even then I didn’t tweak it until last week. For the first time I actually changed my laptop’s background image instead of using the Apple-provided ones. It looks sooo pretty on the laptop. Every time I turn it on and see the photo I just gaze at it and smile. Deep sigh…ahh….
