The West family – Destin, FL – 06.20.09

Aren’t they gorgeous?! I just love these photos.  Such fabulous models! We all perspired quite nicely last weekend as we traversed the white sands of Destin, FL in order to create some family photos and happy memories.

I enjoyed shooting on the beach so much! Sure, it’s a bit sweaty and sand isn’t good for photo equipment…but I LOVE being on the beach with the breeze, the boats, the seagulls…sigh…I’m so content.

That’s it. I am totally misplaced. I need to move to a warm, sunny and happy beach locale.

More beach photos to come!!

Jumping on the bed during vacation.

I have a new blog and this calls for a celebration! Things are still under construction and the design isn’t completely the way I want it, but I’ll get there eventually!

Five-day-old Lela with Mommy & Daddy

Look at this sweetheart with her daddy and mommy! The entire family was wonderful during the shoot. Very accommodating and relaxed. Mom and Dad were so very calm, self-assured and laid-back. You’d never guess this was their first baby!

Thanks for opening up your home and for sharing Lela’s precious early moments with me. What a privilege and blessing!

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream, Interior

Finally making it inside the door after waiting outside in a long line...but there's still quite a line to get through.

Molly Moon’s has THE BEST ice cream I have ever had. And I’ve had some gourmet stuff. Their Honey Lavender is a wonderfully sweet & aromatic blend. Such a unique flavor. I would’ve never thought that lavender ice cream could taste so good. No wonder there was a line out the door and down the sidewalk. Granted, it was May when we stopped in, but the locals tell me there’s a line out the door even in winter. Okay. If you’ve got an ice cream business that STILL has a ton of business in the WINTER. Your ice cream has got to be phenomenal. And it is. So go get some next time you’re nearby!

And, sorry! I didn’t get any good photos of the ice cream because we gobbled it up so fast. Just trust me, it was a big, fragrant and deliciously good double scoop of Chocolate and Honey Lavender on a big waffle cone.

New Head for Armani Mannequin

I model Armani.

What good is life if you can’t have a little fun? This photo CRACKS. ME. UP.  Props to my friend, Jayme, for taking this stellar photo of my short modeling career at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii last week. The look on my face could’ve been better but I was about to bust out laughing. You should’ve seen the shoppers cracking up as they walked past the window. Ah… So great.
