My friend Bonnie was working on one of her (always beautiful) quilting projects and had the above piece lying on a table. The colors were so earthy and calming, so beautiful in their simplicity that I quickly had to come whizzing in with my camera/flash/umbrella-on-a-stand combo and–voila!–instant quilted beauty.
This little blue quilt piece is shaped like Bonnie’s beloved Airedale Terrier, Marley.
