We showed up at a friend’s house yesterday just in time to catch the last 20 mins of the USA vs. Canada Olympic hockey game. From what I saw, I’m sad for the USA team (so sad to see how dejected they were, so still on the ice as Canada rejoiced). But, I think it’s really cool for the home team to win at the Olympics. That was awesome for them. Anywho…I spied this refreshing view out on the back deck and immediately had to get my camera. It was, quite simply, the most idyllic scene I’d seen in a long time. Someone joked that the title of the photo should be “Small Town America.” Very true.
